The studio believes that challenging parameters lead to unique design character and unexpected solutions. In that context, principals Heidi Beebe and Doug Skidmore provide design leadership and project vision for contempo- rary architecture with purpose and precision. The practice was established in 2007 to offer articulate and efficient design to discerning clients. The studio integrates with both commercial and residential clients as a team, bringing experience from internationally recognized firms responsible for the realization of boundary-pushing projects includ- ing art museums, single- and multi-family housing, institutional master plans, and commercial projects. In commercial design, Beebe Skidmore's 30,000-square-foot headquarters for the Slabtown neighborhood-shifting Swift Agency, opened in Portland, Oregon, in early 2016. An image from this project is featured on the cover of this publication. In residential design, "Two Story Four Square," a house in historic North End in Boise, Idaho, was pub- lished in Dwell magazine's "Brilliant Design Across the USA," and the newly completed "Siskiyou House" was featured at Dezeen and Contemporist.
